Jessica Lucas began 2013 with some sadness. The highly anticipated Cult show, which first released on February 19th was pulled from the schedule a few weeks later. It was cancelled on April 10. Later in the year The network CW, aired the remaining episodes from the 13-week series, however it's not good to appear in the same show that was killed at the beginning of its run. On the plus side, it seemed the actress' career was advancing fast on the big screen. Jessica Lucas starred in That Awkward, released by Sony Pictures early in 2014 as American actor Michael B. Jordan's lawyer and wife. In the end, it turns out that Jessica Lucas had an affair. This clearly gives her an advantage.
