Jillian Noel Hennessy
Jillian Noel Hennessy was born on November 25 on the 25th of November, 1968. She is a Canadian actor, singer and musician. She is best known for her roles in the American television show Law & Order, on which she played prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three seasons as well as Crossing Jordan, on which she was the main character, Jordan Cavanaugh, for six seasons. She has also appeared in movies such as RoboCop 3 and Most Wanted, and the indie films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class, the latter of which she wrote and co-directed. Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. Her father, John Hennessy, was a meat salesman as well as a sales/marketing executive. It was a job that required extensive travel and led to frequent relocations for the family. Maxine Her mother, also known as Maxine, died in 1982. She left her daughter in the care of Eleanor Her paternal grandmother. John Paul Hennessy Jr., her younger brother, is Jacqueline Hennessy, an identical twin, who is a magazine journalist and a TV host in Canada. Hennessy is a mixture of Irish, French French, Swedish and Italian origins on her father's side, and predominantly Ukrainian Roma on the mother's. She attended Stanley Park Senior Public School. Grand River Collegiate Institute was her graduation. She was a busker in Toronto's subway. Hennessy as well as her sister were the first actors to be cast as twin call girls on 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's sister, revealed that she was chosen for The X-Files for Dana Scully's part. Hennessy also played the part of Dr. Marie Lazarus on RoboCop 3. In 1993 Dick Wolf signed Hennessy to the role of Claire Kincaid assistant district attorney in the show Law & Order. The role was held for three seasons until she was fired in 1996.
